![]() Let me know if you need help here and i’ll break it down for ya further.įYI go to my post on Synology forums, theres heaps of other tips there too. ![]() I have setup everything but files that download as compressed archives be it zip / rar / 7z etc dont automatic extract. hence the creation of the auto-unrar file. So i read that in haugene docker-transmission package it comes with unrar abilities. There’s hardly anything you can’t do with script…. To do this log into SSH and cd to /usr/syno/etc/download/ and edit DSscript.sh. The script you downloaded is 100% basic… feel free to update it as you will. I want my torrents auto unpacked and minimized or backgrounded. were added, is to specify an extraction folder for NZBs, where the extraction folder would be named after the NZB. Right now I have utorrent set to use winrar to auto unrar each torrent but it errors a lot and takes focus away from my media software currently playing. What I want to do, and that's how it was before all the extra options for paths etc. (So by going to “/volume1/video/House Season 1” you’d see “/volume1/video/House Season 1/Episode 1”, “/volume1/video/House Season 1/Episode 2” etc.)Īnd likewise if there isn’t a rar file in the torrent it’ll just download as normal… so default. with the last two releases I haven't been able to figure out, ho to set the paths correctly for the auto-Unrar option. If you downloaded a torrent called “House Season 1” and it was downloaded to directory called “/volume1/video/House Season 1” every rar file in the torrent would be extracted to that directory automatically. it’ll unrar it to the directory you choose. if you’re using downloadstation to download torrents and the torrent has rar files in it….as long as your downloading to /volume1/whatever…. I was just testing for an user friendly place to put a few help files where i could monitor it effectively.Īnyway to answer your question…. Sorry i didn’t quite expect anyone to find this blog hehe.
